Monthly Fee: £25
Mobile Phone Insurance: This packaged bank account came with worldwide cover for mobile and smartphones. This covers against loss, theft, breakdown and accidental damage.
Europe and UK Breakdown Cover: The account also came with RAC Breakdown cover that includes Roadside, Recovery, At Home, Onward Travel and European cover.
Extended Warranty: An additional one year’s cover on new domestic appliances was available for customers with a Barclays Premier Life 25 Current Account. This is on top of the standard one-year manufacturers’ warranty and covers breakdown caused by accidental damage.
Worldwide Travel Insurance: The insurance covered trips that lasted up to 31 days, providing that the account holder and his/her partner were under 80 years of age on the start date of any trips. The policy also covered business travel.
Gadget Cover: This worldwide policy covered items such as tablets, laptops, camcorders, cameras, MP3 players. This included protection against theft, breakdown, accidental and malicious damage.
Airport Lounge Access: Premier Life 25 account holders were offered access to around 560 worldwide airport lounges. This included up to 6 visits per year with immediate family.
